Moonstone

Moonstone – is an enchanting mineral, a precious variety of feldspar (orthoclase) renowned for its unique optical effect – adularescence. This gentle, mystical glow, reminiscent of moonlight, arises from the scattering of light between microscopic layers of different feldspars (orthoclase and albite) within the stone. It is this ethereal radiance, seemingly floating beneath the surface, that makes moonstone so coveted in jewelry and collecting. Its name is directly linked to this magical luster.

Since ancient times, moonstone has been used to create jewelry, with beliefs in its connection to the moon and its properties as a talisman bringing good fortune and emotional balance.
