Moonstone – is an enchanting mineral, a precious variety of feldspar (orthoclase) renowned for its unique optical effect – adularescence. This gentle, mystical glow, reminiscent of moonlight, arises from the scattering of light between microscopic layers of different feldspars (orthoclase and albite) within the stone.
